Data Retention & Disposal Policy

This policy describes how Servo retains and disposes of data in compliance with applicable United States law.
1. Overview
Servo is a B2B SaaS platform that serves United States-based field service companies. We retain customer data for as long as it is needed to provide our services and to comply with applicable legal obligations, including tax and financial recordkeeping requirements.
This policy applies to all data processed by the Servo platform, including customer business data, user accounts, financial records, and system logs.
2. Retention
Data is retained for the duration of the customer's active subscription. Financial and accounting records are retained in accordance with IRS recordkeeping guidelines. Audit logs are retained to support compliance and dispute resolution.
When a customer terminates their account, we provide a reasonable window to export data before it is removed from our active systems.
3. Deletion
Servo uses soft deletion by default. When a record is deleted by a user, it is excluded from the application but retained in the database for a recovery period. This protects against accidental data loss.
Permanent deletion occurs when data ages out of the retention period or when requested by the account owner, subject to any legal hold or recordkeeping obligation.
4. Third-Party Integrations
When a user disconnects a third-party integration, associated credentials are immediately revoked and deleted. Data previously imported from the integration is retained according to this policy.
5. Requests
Account owners may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data by contacting us at hi@servohq.com. We will fulfill requests in a reasonable timeframe, subject to any applicable legal retention requirements.
