Purpose

This campaign allows tradespeople (plumbers, landscapers, cleaners, contractors) to send customizable, automated transactional messages to their clients regarding appointment confirmations, work status updates, dispatch notifications, and service completion confirmations. Messages are sent only to clients who have explicitly consented to receive communications from their specific service provider through our platform.

Consent Methods

We obtain explicit consent through three methods, all of which clearly identify both the service provider and Servo as the messaging platform:

Website/App Opt-In

During service booking on the provider's website or mobile app, clients check a consent checkbox stating:

"I agree to receive automated text messages from [Service Provider Name] via Servo regarding my appointments and service status. Message frequency varies (typically 2-5 messages per service). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Terms: servohq.com/terms Privacy: servohq.com/privacy"

Verbal Phone Consent

During phone bookings, staff obtain explicit verbal consent using a standardized script:

"Would you like to receive text message updates about your service appointments? You'll get about 2-5 messages per service visit from us through our messaging platform. Standard message rates apply and you can opt out anytime by replying STOP."

All verbal consents are logged in the CRM system with:

  • Timestamp of consent
  • Phone number
  • Staff member who obtained consent
  • Appointment details

Paper Service Agreement

In-person service agreements include a checkbox section:

Message Types

All messages are transactional and service-related:

  • Appointment Reminders - Sent 24-48 hours before scheduled service with date, time, and confirmation request
  • Technician Dispatch - Notification when technician is on the way, including estimated arrival time
  • Service Progress - Updates during service execution
  • Completion Confirmation - Notification when work is complete with any follow-up information

Hi, this is a reminder for your plumbing appointment with [Company Name] tomorrow at [Time]. Please reply YES to confirm or call us at [Phone Number] if you need to reschedule.
Your cleaning service with [Company Name] is scheduled for [Date] at [Time]. Our team will arrive within a 30-minute window. Reply STOP to opt out.
Hi [Client Name], [Tradesperson Name] from [Company Name] is on their way and should arrive in about [Number] minutes for your [Service Type] appointment. Reply STOP to opt out.
The [Service Type] team from [Company Name] has completed the work at your property. Please call [Phone Number] if you have any questions about today's service. Reply STOP to opt out.
